Every TARWA rug is one of a kind and handcrafted using traditional techniques. If you have questions about production times, custom sizing, or the purchasing process, you’ll find answers to the most common ones below.
How long does it take for my rug to be ready?
If the rug you choose is in stock, it will be shipped the next day.
If it is made to order, the production time is approximately 6 to 10 weeks. Each piece is unique and handcrafted in northern Argentina. Having a custom-made rug requires a slow and careful process.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. For made-to-order rugs, we work with a three-payment schedule:
40% when the order is confirmed, 30% after one month and the remaining 30% upon delivery.
Can I order a custom-sized rug?
Yes. We make all of our rug designs to your desired dimensions. You can choose the size and the color combination from our palette to suit your space.
Is there an extra cost for ordering a custom-sized rug?
No. We understand that every space requires a different rug size. That’s why we make all of our rugs to your preferred dimensions at no additional cost, so you can choose the size that best suits your space.
How do I clean my rug?
We recommend regular vacuuming, both on the front and the back, for daily maintenance. For a deeper clean, dry cleaning is recommended. In case of stains, we provide a guide with our recommendations.
Can I see the rugs in person?
You can visit our showroom in Pilar by appointment. Get in touch with us to schedule a visit, see the products in person, and receive personalized advice.
Do the rugs need a rug pad?
No. Thanks to their weight and construction, our rugs do not require a rug pad. They weigh approximately 2.3 kg per m², which gives them excellent stability on the floor.
